Town Meeting will begin at 9:00 AM this Tuesday at Copley Memorial Gymnasium at People's Academy. I have been fortunate to be your moderator over the last 15 years.

There is an excellent guide about Town Meeting that you can find at the Vermont Secretary of State's website about Town Meeting. After clicking on elections go to the citizens guide to town meeting.

My job as moderator is to facilitate the will of the voters. State law mandates that we use Roberts Rules unless we adopt some other rules. Since there obviously aren't any other rules we are governed procedurally by Roberts Rules.
