Many thanks to everyone who attended Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival's sold-out screening of "Moonlight" last week at Town Hall Theater! We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces in the crowd. And now we're even more excited to present the next installment in the Winter Screening Series - this time we're going to Mongolia, with "The Eagle Huntress."
"The Eagle Huntress" will screen at Town Hall Theater on March 12 at 2pm. This feature doc follows the adventures of 13 year old Aisholpan, the first ever female eagle huntress in her 12-generation Mongolian family. Kid friendly, beautifully filmed, and inspiring, "The Eagle Huntress" is a great film for the whole family.
"The Eagle Huntress" has been nominated for a BAFTA and a Critics Choice Award, won the People's Choice Award at Denver International Film Festival and Mill Valley Film Festival, and premiered at Sundance Film Festival. It's also the first feature film for director Otto Bell, making it a monumental achievement.
