Peacham Library Community Coffeehouse Saturday

Past event
Mar 4, 2017, 7 to 9 PM

Do you avoid “folk” music because you have no interest in sincere declarations of love or wholesome exhortations to hold hands and plant flowers? The Peacham Library has just the coffeehouse for you! On Saturday, March 4th at 7:00 pm, the band Fifth Business will be sharing songs about dogs, gardening, fishing, and other humble topics. Nic Anzalone leads with his versatile fiddle, Stuart Corso creates depth with his voice and a collection of button accordions, Hannah Davie chimes in with vocals and mandolin, Heather Alger and Kate Davie contribute vocals and a bit of percussion, and Steve Davie keeps everyone in line with guitar, banjo, and octave mandolin. Based in Ryegate, they have been playing together for about twelve years now, bringing songs from England and the Celtic fringe to the Kingdom and sharing Steve's original work.

Use the open mike afterwards to start your musical career!

Tea, Coffee, Hot Cider and Light Refreshments Will Be Served
Suggested Donation $5 per person to benefit Peacham Library
