Come learn the basics of this beautiful Angolan partner dance! Traditionally, this is a dance of celebration, danced at weddings and parties between friends and family.

These classes are unique in that the instructor infuses them with questions of social justice, principles of movement, and exercise science. What you will learn in this class will improve your dance in all genres. Every class will be followed by 30 minutes of open guided practice!

All bodies welcome. Beginners especially welcome. Gender norms will not be adhered to.
