Grow Your Own will host a workshop in Hardwick on March 4 led by Megen Hall of Riverside Farm. This session will be an exploration and teaching of seed starting. The hands-on workshop will be free of charge. It will be held at the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) at 140 Junction Road from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will include a shared meal. Grow Your Own is a project of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, NEK Kids on the Move and CAE. Children are welcome. Pre-registration is mandatory by calling (802) 472-5940 by Wednesday March 1 . The mission of Grow Your Own is to increase food independence, better health and wellbeing through shared knowledge and experience.
