Dave Schmidt, a longtime ski and snowboard industry consultant, will moderate a panel discussion with:
• Jason Levinthal the founder of Burlington's J Skis, Line skis and Full Tilt boots and a Ted Talks veteran
• Vin Faraci, founder of Hyde Park's WhiteRoom Skis who handcrafts custom skis using cores from Vermont hardwoods with one-of-a-kind, hand-cut and inlayed wood veneer artwork
• Lars Whitman of Silo Skis who makes skis in his solar powered workshop in Richmond, VT
• Oliver Blackman, a Smugglers Notch ski instructor who builds skis for his own skiing pleasure
Also…The grand opening of "Skis from Grant Reynolds Collection" exhibit, the evolution of skis from 1910 to 1990.
