As posted earlier this winter, Long Trail Veterinary Center and the Williston Police Officers’ Association and have teamed up to provide free pet micro chipping for interested people who would like to get their pet chipped.
Long Trail Veterinary Center is donating the service of installing the chips and the Williston Police Officers’ Association is providing the chips. The cost for this procedure and chip is generally about $65.
The pet owner does need to enroll with a pet monitoring service such as HomeAgain. This service is $19.99. A computer will be available for enrollment.
Williston Town personnel will also be on hand to process animal licenses for your pet. (fee associated) You will need to provide current rabies certificate if you want to license your pet.
And there will be free popcorn!
The date is Tuesday, March 7th from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at the National Guard Armory located in Williston Village across from the library.
Hope to see you there!
