Clarinet-Piano Recital at Richmond Free Library

Past event
Feb 25, 2017, 7:30 to 9 PM

This is a rare opportunity to attend a concert featuring Steven Klimowski, clarinet, with Sadie Danforth-Brightman, piano. Steve is a member of the UVM music faculty and Sadie is a member of the Middlebury College music faculty. The concert program spans the music spectrum from well-know classical music (Brahms' Sonata in E-flat and Bernstein's Sonata for Clarinet and Piano), jazz (Dolphy's Improvisation on "God Bless the Child"), to the music of living composers from Vermont and Canada (Allen Shawn's Candles; Alexandra Fol's Mon ame fut a sa merci; and Dorothjy Robson's Scenes for Clarinet and Piano). Admission: Adults $25; Students/Seniors: $12; Donation of any amount for the financially challenged.
