Legislative Breakfast will take place Monday, February 27th at 8am at the St. Johnsbury House located at 1207 Main Street, St. Johnsbury. All are welcome.
With the legislature hitting full steam, the Northeast Kingdom Legislative Breakfast will take on a different focus this month, offering local legislators more time to provide more detailed reports on their committee work and bills affecting the Northeast Kingdom.
Some of the issues expected to be addressed are the state budget, heath care, tourism funding, labor and economic development issues, education funding, taxes an fiscal policies.
The event provides area business people and residents an overview of the session and legislative issues affecting the region. There will be time allotted at the end of the breakfast for questions from the public.
