Twinfield High School Student Art Exhibit
March 7th – March 17th 2017

The T. W. Wood Gallery at 46 Barre St. in Montpelier, Vermont is pleased to announce an exhibit of art created by Twinfield Union School high school artists from March 7th through March 17th. The exhibit includes photography, drawings and paintings. A reception will be held on Thursday March 9th from 5:00-7:00 pm. Refreshments will be served and there is no admission fee.

The secondary art program at Twinfield Union School provides opportunities for students to participate in traditional art classes and self-designed learning experiences in a studio environment. All of the art students in this exhibit have created personalized learning experiences through the Renaissance program. No matter which path a student takes, art experiences at Twinfield emphasize visual problem solving, independent decision making, risk taking and creative and critical thinking. Students engage in self-reflection and critique to learn to convey artistic intent from creator to viewer.

Works from the T.W. Wood permanent Collection and the Works Progress Administration: Federal Art Collection will also be showing. The Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12:00-4:00 pm and by appointment. The Gallery is located at 46 Barre Street at the Center for Arts and Learning in Montpelier, VT.
