Expressive Arts Therapists Speak about Their Work on Thursday, February 23, 2017 taking place at 118 Elliot St., Brattleboro from 6:00 – 7:30 pm Panel Discussion and 7:30 – 8:30 pm Mix & Mingle. We will discuss: what is art’s role in the healing process? How exactly do the arts heal, and what makes expressive arts therapy effective? In a panel discussion, Expressive Arts Therapists from our community will address these questions. This event is sponsored by The Arts Council of Windham County (ACWC), which works to strengthen the environment for artists and arts organizations in Windham County by acting as a resource hub for artists while connecting people with the culture of Southern Vermont.
