BCA Meeting - The Board of Civil Authority (selectboard, justices of the peace, town clerk) will meet Monday, February 27 at 6:30pm, prior to that night’s selectboard meeting, to plan for Town Meeting. All are welcome. If you want to help with the election, stop by! The agenda includes:

Swear in JPs
Review ballots and checklist
Staffing, including hand-counters, mic runner
Same day voter registration procedures
Counting ballots procedures
Set-up, tear down

Town and School Reports on Web – The town report and school report for Town Meeting are posted to the town web site at www.calaisvermont.gov in two separate documents. The town report includes the school report, but it is upside down for printing purposes. If you want to review the school report right side up (!), go to the school document. You should receive your town report in the mail by Friday. Town Meeting is March 7 at the Calais Elementary School starting at 9 a.m. Please arrive earlier to check in so the meeting can start promptly at 9:00.
