Groundswell, Rural Vermont's Community Conversation Tour, launches this Wednesday in Tunbridge! We look forward to seeing you, 5:30-8:30pm at the Tunbridge Town Hall, located at 227 Vermont Route 110. Walk-ins are welcome, but we sure would appreciate your RSVP before noon on Wednesday. More info and RSVP at www.ruralvermont.org.

Join us for engaging conversation about land use, livelihood, food, and the future of Vermont. We're expecting a good crowd in Tunbridge, and have a great evening planned. In addition to the community dialogue that is bringing us all together, we invite folks to BYOB and enjoy a light dinner provided by Rural Vermont and featuring soups from the Good Food Truck, bread from Red Hen Baking Co., and butter and cheese from our local host Mountain Home Farm. We'll also be treated to a live performance of Free Verse farmer-poet Taylor Katz's "Culture of Agriculture" poem and the guitar-picking of Doug Perkins, described by Robert Resnik of VPR's All the Traditions as "one of my favorite Vermont acoustic guitarists".

This first stop on the Groundswell Tour is sponsored by Building a Local Economy (BALE), South Royalton Market, and Vermont Law School's Center for Agriculture & Food Systems. The entire Groundswell Tour is sponsored by our Partner Members, which include local businesses Bob White Systems, the Frankenburg Agency, and Grow More Waste Less.
