On Wednesday February 22 at 7 pm in the Steele Community Room at 28 North Main Street the Village Trustees will be holding a public meeting to inform people about the article at Village meeting involving possible changes to the Village Charter and to Village Police services. An officer from the Vermont State Police will also be present. The proposal will merge the Trustees with the Water and Sewer Commissioners forming one board and eliminate other governmental responsibilities from the charter other than that necessary to manage the water and sewer system The Village Police Department would be eliminated. This will be an opportunity for people to learn what will be considered and to ask questions. All Village residents are encouraged to attend on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 7:00 pm Steele Community Room
