If you reserve your tickets for the Friends of the Library annual winter banquet/auction by Tuesday, February 21, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Quarry Kitchen and Spirits! You can still buy tickets @ $25 up until the banquet on Saturday, March 5, at the Barre Elks, but you won't be eligible for the drawing. It's a wonderful mid-winter community event, complete with cash bar at 5 pm, appetizers made by the Friends, a delicious roast beef dinner at 6 pm, time to browse silent auction items, and an exciting live auction with Dave Sanguinetti. This year's auction items include a collectible slot machine/bank, a 919 piece Lego fire station set, 3 yards of mulch, Barre Opera House tickets, heating oil, nd lots more. Hope to see you there!
