Art Woolf, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Vermont will present " Critical Issues Facing Vermont: How will the Changing Mix of Children, Workers and Seniors Affect Taxes, Spending and the Economy" on Wednesday Feb 22, at the Town and Country Resort, 876 Mountain Road, Stowe. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the lecture begins promptly at 1:30 p.m.

Woolf was state economist for Governor Madeleine Kunin from 1988 to 1991. Since 2011 he has written a weekly column on the Vermont economy for the Burlington Free Press. From 1991 to 2014 he was the editor of the Vermont Economy Newsletter. He is also the founder and president of the Vermont Council on Economic Education, an organization promoting economic and financial literacy through the teaching of economics in
Vermont's elementary, middle, and high schools.
