Time to start marking your calendars for the 22nd Burlington Irish Heritage Festival! Please see our schedule for 2017.

Many of you will be gearing up early for the season with the legendary Chieftains at the Flynn February 27th, and we aim to sustain the Saint Patrick‘s spirit right through to late March. There is so much not to miss this year: Dr. Ciaran Buckley’s talk on Brexit and its effects on Ireland; rousing pub singalongs with Reagh Greenleaf Jr. or with The Brayzen Heads from Ireland; or a lively traditional session hosted by the talented musicians of Young Tradition Vermont. You can join Irish lessons or a discussion about Irish history, explore your heritage at a genealogy workshop, help your children make simple Irish crafts, or kick up your heels at three ceilis, including our traditionally most popular event, the Festival Ceili. We’re also delighted to bring back world-class musicians and musicologists Hilari Farrington and Benedict Koehler for 'Ireland's History Through its Music. Check our Facebook page and website, burlingtonirishheritage.org, for updates and details about these events as well as the ‘Luck of the Irish’ raffle.
