As each day goes by and we hear more and more about climate change, we become more and more aware of the importance of paying close attention to our regions plants and pollinators. Biologist Bob Engel, former professor of biology at Marlboro College, will talk with us about the plants and pollinators that were here, are here now, those that we hope will be here in the future and what might affect them going forward. He will also be including "energetics". Come and find out what that is about.

Over the years, Bob has taught courses ranging from general biology to tropical, marine and desert ecology, and from ornithology to comparative physiology and plant taxonomy. Bob says, "I make sure my students are familiar with the biological environments of whatever they study, whether it be cells, organisms or ecosystems."

"Bob is an inspired and fascinating presenter."

This series is co-sponsored by the Dummerston Conservation Commission and Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center.
