The next Colchester School Board Meeting is this coming Tuesday, February 21st. Agenda Items include:
- A presentation by the "Election 2016" class about their experiences in the class and their trip to DC for the Inauguration.
- A review of the CSD Demographics Report which was just completed for by McKibben Demographics. The report goes into great detail but ultimately reports that after the large senior class at CHS graduates, enrollment is projected to stay level.
-A Budget Communications Plan update: The first ever 2017 Report to the Community was mailed out this week. Also, the first episode of a new video series hosted by Superintendent Amy Minor was posted on the district website, Facebook, and Twitter. Every week until the vote, CSD will be posting these short videos (less than 3 minutes!) which cover a variety of topics surrounding the budget and the impact it has on our students and taxpayers. The first video, posted on Tuesday, has been a huge success reaching over 18,000 people.
- The board will also review 2 policies and 9 job descriptions.
