Tuesday, February 21 at 7 pm at the Richmond Free Library
So many people in Richmond have read Jacqueline Woodson's book, "Brown Girl Dreaming". The Richmond Congregational Church and the Richmond Free Library were able to offer free copies of the book to the public through the Vermont Reads Program, an initiative of the Vermont Humanities Council. We will be discussing the book on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The event is open to anyone who has read the book and would like to explore its many themes including identity, family, race, and personal dreams. Refreshments will be served.
