Talk About Books will be discussing a mystery, "The Collaborator of Bethlehem" by Matt Rees at our next meeting on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:30. The book group meets every third Wednesday of the month.

The story is set in a West Bank village near Bethlehem where its unlikely hero, Omar Yussef, teaches history in a United Nations school in a Palestinian refugee camp. Rees’ skill is to transport you into the sights, sounds and tastes of Omar’s world, providing a rich sense of place along with a riddle of a story with enough twists and insights into the Palestinian world to keep it entertaining to the last page.
