On Tuesday, February 21st., at 7 p.m., our Duxbury Historical Society will hold it's next meeting in the library at Crossett Brook Middle School.
The evening will commence with a business meeting that will include the annual election of officers and those scheduled trustees. This will be an opportunity for anyone that would like to get involved with your community's past and its preservation to do so.
Our program will be a 40 minute film on "The Community at the Crossroads." This is a great traditional presentation on the earlier days in Waterbury. It is directed by Vince Franke (of Duxbury),and the guidance of Senator William Doyle .and the assistance of his history class and the media class at Johnson State College.
Notice the date and location change at the school!!! The school is handi--cap accessable, the library will be comfortable; so please bring a friend to see this free and educational show. Refreshments will be served.
