Andy Nagy-Benson and Emily Joselson will host a panel discussion from 4:00-5:30 THIS Sunday, February 19th, at the Middlebury Congregational Church, 2 Main St. ISLAM IN AMERICA TODAY is the second in a year-long series of community-wide conversations. The panel will include Farhad Khan, local business owner and President of the Islamic Society of Vermont; Ata Anzali, Middlebury College Assistant Professor of Religion; Naila Baloch and Beau Scurich, Middlebury College Associate Co-Chaplains and Muslim Advisors; and Muslim students from Middlebury College. In the wake of the President’s executive order on immigration, they will share their experiences of being Muslim in the U.S. and will welcome your questions.
