New Carpentry/Woodworking opportunities at ReSource's South End Joinery!
Intro to Basic Carpentry - This workshop will introduce the participant to the the foundations of carpentry. We will start with the basics, including choosing a tool-belt, the right hammer, different types of lumber and nails. We'll discuss and tlearn project planning, framing a floor, walls, framing rough openings for windows and doors, marking your rafters, and building your roof. We'll use basic carpentry tools, circular saws, compound miter saws, levels, and more. The class will cooperate to complete a chicken coop or small shed.

Intro to Basic Carpentry will take place February 18 and 19, starting at 9:00 AM each day and wrapping up around 4:00 PM.
