What do Marcel Duchamps and Live Jazz have in common? Is it that this Friday, Feb 17 is the anniversary of the 1913 Armory Show in New York where "Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2" became a Modernist classic? (Live Jazz will be performing this Friday at The Spot from 630-830 pm, so maybe that's it.) Perhaps it is that both the French artist and the Vermont Duet reject "retinal art"?
