Five Tunbridge men who know woods and sugaring well will be the panelists for a free Winter Evenings program Friday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Tunbridge Public Library.
They are consulting forester Paul Harwood, the National Outstanding Tree Farm Inspector of the Year; dairy farmer Ted Hoyt and his son, forester Calvin Hoyt, who are half of the Hoyt Hill Sugarbush operation; Mike Bogardus who sugars on Monarch Hill, mostly with buckets; and Cody Armstrong who sugars in Randolph Center and manages sugaring systems for Chippers’ clients.
Bring your questions about the health of sugar maples, technology, climate, economics and more for the panelists. Refreshments will follow.
