Just after finishing his final exams at the University of Utah, and with no prior plan of what he was about to do, Tim DeChristopher stepped inside the building where thousands of acres of cherished public land was about to be auctioned off to the oil and gas industry for fracking. Tim served two years in federal prison for his bids to protect 22,000 acres of fragile land from fracking. Recently released from prison, Tim is inspiring people across the country to stand up against extreme energy extraction.
