Murphy Robinson will be teaching an intensive STREET MEDIC TRAINING on April 1st and 2nd from 9am-5pm in Montpelier at the Geezum Crow yoga studio located up on the college green at 62 ridge st, 2nd floor. The cost for both days is $90. There are currently 7 out of the 10 spaces left. Please sign up early as this will fill quickly.
I will need 40$ deposit by Feb 26th to reserve your spot and to pay Murphy and the venue deposits.
Checks can be made out to me , Jeni Humphries, po box 202 Plainfield Vt 05667 and I will send you receipt. Your spot will be securely reserved when I have received your deposit.
This training is open to those with no previous medical training and is also a great compliment to those already in the medical field.

******A resilient community knows how to care for its members even when traditional medical care becomes inaccessible. Come to this Street Medic training to learn patient assessment, illness recognition, wound care, when to call 911, basic first aid, herbalism, and emotional support skills in a safe, community-focused environment. We will also cover skills and strategies for responding to police violence, civil unrest, natural disasters, and any situation where the usual emergency response systems may be delayed. Lots of hands-on practice will leave you feeling confident and prepared to care for the people around you. We strive to make this training anti-racist, gender inclusive, queer-friendly, and accessible.

Murphy Robinson is a Street Medic, Wilderness First Responder, former EMT, and wilderness guide. She has been a street medic at actions in Montpelier, Brattleboro, Burlington, New York City, and Standing Rock, and has taught street medic trainings in Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. She is also the founder of Mountainsong Expeditions, where she teaches archery, hunting, and wilderness skills.
