"From Trauma to Activism," a documentary featuring pioneers of various LGBTQ political organizations, will be shown on Monday, Feb 27 at 6:30 pm at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. The film highlights key moments in the struggle for gay rights: Stonewall, the first Gay Pride march, the rise of the Gay Liberation Front, the AIDS crisis, and the Freedom to Marry movement, among others. The film was made by gender activist Steven F. Dansky, the co-founder of OUTSpoken: Oral History from LGBTQ Pioneers. This showing is co-sponsored by the Welcoming Congregation Committee of the Unitarian Church of Montpelier and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. All are invited.
