Join us this Thursday at 4 pm for a free program about the extraordinarily diverse flora and fauna of Israel. Award-winning author/illustrator, Miri Leshem-Pelly, will share her deep knowledge of wildlife and her process for writing and illustrating field guides for kids as well as numerous storybooks. Miri will talk about why such a tiny country has such an extremely high number of plants and animals found nowhere else in the world AND some amazing things she found while comparing Vermont with Israel. Her newest book, Scribble and Author, playfully explores the writing process.
