Please attend the Candidates Forum on February 16th, Thursday, at 7 to 8:30 pm for all candidates on the March 2017 ballot to introduce themselves and hear questions and concerns from Shelburne residents.
What: Shelburne Candidate Forum
When: February 16, Thursday, 7 to 8:30 pm
Note: Most candidates are able to stay to greet and speak following the forum.
Where: Town Office Meeting Room 1 & 2
Why: The purpose of the forum is to help Shelburne voters learn more about the candidates’ backgrounds, reasons for running for office, candidates' positions on key issues, and philosophy of Selectboard process and governance and the Town Clerk position.
Who: All candidates on the March ballot have been invited to participate. Candidates are those seeking contested seats (three year seat for Selectboard, two year seat for Selectboard and Town Clerk) as well as those candidates for uncontested positions (school board and town & school moderator).

FORMAT: Similar to previous forums, in order to hear from a number of folks, audience members will write questions on 3 x 5 cards which are then submitted to the moderator. Questions may be written prior to the meeting on 3x5 cards, at the start of the forum and during the forum and will be given to Tom Little as soon as they are received.
