February 15, Wildlife rehabilitator Patti Smith,naturalist at the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center and author of "The Beavers of Poppels Pond" will describe the wildlife that inhabited this area after the retreat of the glaciers, how that has changed over time and the factors responsible for that change, our current wildlife and a projection on the local and regional wildlife into the future. Patti writes the quarterly BEEC newsletter, has a monthly column in the Brattleboro Reformer and has an on-line blog where she describes her adventures with the wild creatures of the area.
