Feeling snowed in? Beat cabin fever by heading to the Aldrich Public Library this Saturday for our last movie in this year's Second Saturday Classic Film Series curated and hosted by Savoy Theater co-founder Rick Winston.
James Dean shot to stardom with his first film in 1955, directed by Elia Kazan and based on John Steinbeck’s epic novel about a California farming family at the time of World War I. Dean plays Cal Trask, who desperately seeks approval from his stern father, played by Raymond Massey. Film expert Rick Winston introduces each film and leads a lively discussion afterward. Free popcorn! Call the library at 476-7550 for movie title and rating information.
