The Champlain Consort presents " A Renaissance Valentine". The program features romantic Renaissance songs and also celebrates the 500th anniversary of Heinrich Isaac(1450-1517). The members perform on recorders, sackbuts (find out about these interesting instruments), viola da gamba, capped reeds, and percussion combining different instruments in the " broken consort" tradition to recreate the distinctive sound of English and European Renaissance music.
