Feb. 18th at 7:00 at the Montgomery Library, Join Ferdinand Lauffer at the Montgomery Town Library as he presents a slide show and discussion on his summer bike trip through the Himalayas at altitudes above 16,400 feet. He and a friend biked what is called the world's most dangerous road through breathtaking scenery to Leh, the capital of Buddhist Ladakh. Cost: $5.00 donation for the education programs of the Green Mountain Club. Presented by the Northern Frontier Section of the GMC.
