Pete Antos-Ketcham left a job with the Green Mountain Club to focus on the overlap between food and environmental justice issues in and around Starksboro, Vermont. He has aligned himself with the international New Community Project and created the Vermont Sustainable Living Center. He’ll preview some of the issues he’ll talk about in Montpelier at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library on Thursday, February 16 at 6 pm.

Bill Suhr at Champlain Orchards is keeping apples cool year-round with power from the sun. He will discuss why he is devoting space in his orchard to solar panels, what his future solar plans are, and what would make it easier for farmers like him to make choices like this.
