Jack Mayer will be talking about his latest book 'Before the Court of Heaven' Tuesday at 7 PM at Burlington Cohousing (Main Building on East Village Drive). BEFORE THE COURT OF HEAVEN is a work of historical fiction based on a true story about Weimar Germany and the rise of the Third Reich. BEFORE THE COURT OF HEAVEN has won 10 national book awards. Jack Mayer is the author of the award winning non-fiction book LIFE IN A JAR: THE IRENA SENDLER PROJECT about the Warsaw ghetto. As a Vermont pediatrician, he practices primary care at Rainbow Pediatrics in Middlebury and is on the faculty of the University of Vermont Medical Center and a pre-med adjunct faculty at Middlebury College.
