Corvid Community Naturalists: Wildlife Tracking Feb 11

Saturday, February 11
9 a.m. to noon
Rock Point (5 Rock Point Rd, Burlington)

Join Crow's Path this Saturday for our monthly all-ages gathering for folks looking to track the changes of the seasons, learn outdoors skills, and connect with nature in Burlington's urban wilds. Adults and kids (5+) go off on separate adventures, then come back together to share stories.

February features wildlife tracking! We’ll be scouring the shoreline of Lake Champlain in search of carnivores (most of whom are breeding in winter) and their prey. We'll learn the basics of track and trail interpretation as we search for wildlife sign and connect with the wild inhabitants of Rock Point. Separate, concurrent kids' program will feature tracking games and adventures.

Open to anyone who wants to spend more time outside learning about and observing seasonal changes, patterns, and rhythms. Students, educators, outdoor enthusiasts, teens, parents, grandparents, naturalists and other interested folks all welcome at adult program. Suggested donation $10 for individuals, $20 for family.
