Black Lives Matter Day/Weekend Events

"African Americans are incarcerated at five times the rate of whites across the nation. In Vermont the ratio is even higher at 10 times the rate of whites across the nation. In fact, Vermont is the highest in the nation with one in 14 of all African American adult males in state prison." http://justiceforallvt.org/2017/02/06/788/

If you are passionate about racial justice please support Black Lives Matter Vermont (join us for monthly meetings, become a supporting member online, visit the headquarters/coffee shop in Winooski and like the FB page!) and attend some of these upcoming events listed below. VT is the second whitest state in the union (ME and NH are 1&3) and people of color experience the same systemic injustice as the rest of the nation. Let's get to work making change!
