Reception for Monk Bancroft Sunday, Feb. 12

Past event
Feb 12, 2017, 8:30 to 10 AM

As many of you know, Monk Bancroft has been recuperating at his home in New Hampshire following cancer surgery. He has missed you all as much as you have missed him.

Before he starts chemo and radiation treatment this coming Monday the 13th, he is coming to The Valley to visit friends. He'll be spending Saturday with fellow Ski Patrollers and friends at Mad River Glen. Then, on Sunday morning before he returns to Lebanon, he'd like to see Rotary Club colleagues and his other Valley friends.

No, getting around to visit with each of you at your homes would be impossible. So The Inn at The Round Barn Farm has graciously offered their venue for you to come visit him. The Inn will put on a "continental breakfast" spread (coffee/tea/pastries) and friends can stop by to say hello. The event will run from 8:30 am - 10:00 am.

A Very Important Point: Monk's doctors say that it is very important that he be healthy at the start of his chemo and radiation treatments. Thus, if you are at all under the weather (flu, cold, sniffles, other) PLEASE do not come and, instead, send Monk your hellos by email. Thank you very much for your understanding.

If you plan to come, please RSVP to me by Thursday evening: waynefoster@gmavt.net or 802-496-9514.

Monk will be joined by his son and daughter in law.

Hope to see you there.
