I will give an illustrated talk surveying knitters who have take action through their art. Prompted by political events of the past several weeks, I have gathered examples of ways artists have used knitting to react to social, political, and environmental issues in recent years. My reflections come from a the perspective of a political moderate posing the question: what actions have impact and how does one communicate effectively. The talk is at Center for Arts and Learning on Thursday 6:30 p.m.
