Friends!

There is a Community Dinner at the St. Johnsbury School on February 21st from 5:00-7:00pm to share with the community issues prioritized by students at our public school based on the Youth Risk Behavior Survey results and begin the conversation about solutions. Child care provided!

Youth are concerned that 12% of 8th graders reported drinking alcohol (other than a few sips) before age 11.
Youth are concerned that 55% of middle school students have been bullied.
Youth are concerned that 26% of middle school students reported feeling so sad or hopeless almost every day for two weeks or more in a row that they stopped doing some usual activities in the past.

This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to hear from students and community members, and add your voice.

For those of us with ties to direct service, please encourage St. J families to attend and please share widely with friends, and colleagues, and neighbors, and family. Hang up posters. Make an invitation. Let’s support the conversation.
