Maya has reinvented herself many times over. She is a mother, Inn Keeper, artist and musician. Maya has worked in a variety of mediums over the years including watercolor, oil, acrylic and silk painting, tile art and ceramic glazing, hand-hooked rugs and beaded batik lamp shades. Maya enjoys playing the violin and composing original musicfor it. She teaches violin at The Londonderry Inn and performs with other musicians around town, always looking to jam with others. On display at the Library is some of her colorful acrylic paintings and hand decorated lamp shades.

At the reception Maya will play her violin and perform some of her original compositions. It is hoped that other musicians will be on hand – Judy Cyr playing the library’s organ, Sean Dunn on banjo and possibly a trumpet player. Others are welcome to just show up! So, come to the Library on February 18th . Enjoy the cozy surroundings, meet the artist, view her art and listen to toe-tapping music. Refreshments will be served.
