The Danny Ziemann Trio

The DannyZiemann Trio, featuring pianist Gordon Webster and drummer Kevin Congleton, has been performing together for nearly a year. Danny met Gordon and Kevin in late 2012, when Gordon called Danny to sub for a gig in Rochester, NY. The trio hit it off immediately and continue to tour together, playing Lindy Hops and other events in the US and Canada. The Danny Ziemann trio is an off-shoot of Gordon's group, showing a strong desire to play different styles of jazz in the classic piano trio setting. Drawing from many different influences, this trio performs a mix of classic songbook standards and original music. The trio will be recording a CD in November, with an expected release date of March 2014. Come and bring the family to enjoy these outstanding young musicians. This is a free concert and will be a great family outing. There will be tea and refreshments following the performance, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.October 27th at 2:00 p.m.
