A commonplace book is characterized by having a 'place' where you write and collect information. The premise is to have a central repository for ideas, anecdotes, quotes, observations, facts, and information that you come across in life. Every commonplace book is unique as it is based on the creator's own interests and experiences. In this workshop we will show you how to transform the cover of a black and white composition book into something beautiful that resonates with who you are. If we have time we will also make mini books to use as Valentines.
You do not have to be an artist or even have any artistic abilities. This process is about being creative, which every single person in the world is. It is about exploring how your own personal style wants to present itself. It is also about having fun!
