Hello everybody,
4 years ago when Underhill celebrated its 250th birthday a group of us painted banners representing elements of what we loved about living here...community, PIE, wind, friends, mountains. Every year we have to take the banners down and fix them, sew and repaint them, create new ones. We invite new people to join in the fun.
Floyd Scott is in charge of putting up and taking down banners now. He has done a fabulous job. THANK YOU FLOYD!
On Sunday February 19th at 3:00 we will be fixing and painting banners in the Deborah Rawson Library activity room. Please stop in if you can. We will have all the supplies (thank you Underhill Historical Society). This is not a private club...anyone can join us. Feel free to come with an idea of something to paint or repaint a weathered banner that requires some TLC.
