This is addressed to seniors who are Coop members. I apologize for the lateness of this posting but I found out only today that the Food Coop is considering eliminating the 6% discount for senior Coop members. There is a meeting on Thursday of this week (February 2) at the Kellogg Hubbard library 5:30-7pm when this will be discussed. It is important that those of you who are in this category (and others in solidarity) show up to represent yourselves and inform the Coop of the importance of the discount to low/fixed income seniors. I believe that you need to sign up for the meeting but you can do this over the phone with your member number.Thanks.
