Mah-jongg is a card game that originated in China. Four players play the game using numbered tiles or cards. In all, there are 144 tiles, of which 36 tiles are in the Bamboo suit, 36 in the Circle suit, 36 in the Character suit, 16 Wind tiles, 12 Dragon tiles, and 8 bonus tiles (4 Flowers and 4 Seasons).

Twin Valley Senior Center will be hosting an introduction to this fun game on Monday, February 6th at 1pm. The perfect game consists of 4 players, but as many teams that want to play can. The more the merrier. If you are interested in learning this game weekly on Mondays, or already are a Mah Jongg player then please stop in and join us.
