Waterbury is a vital community with lots of heart! I trust that many of us are looking for opportunities where we can express our compassion in our community. You are invited to the Senior Center on Stowe St. on Sunday, February 12th at 3:00 pm to help fill 50 Valentine's Day gift bags for the 50 home bound members of our community who receive "Meals on Wheels". The Thatcher Brook Primary School students will be making special cards to include with the gift bags. It would be great if you could contribute to the gift bags - suggestions would include: miniature boxes of chocolates, Suduko books, postage stamps, note cards, lotions and any other gifts you think would be enjoyed. If you are not available that day, but would like to contribute to the gift bags, you may drop by the Senior Center earlier in the week to leave them there. It would be helpful to hear if you have interest in this special occasion by responding to this e-mail. Thank you.
