Join Liesje Smith, certified Rolfer and Somatic Movement Educator, for her February Movement Lab, February 5th:
The Body's View-Seeing a Bigger World
A special movement day at the Shelburne Town Hall- I begin the morning subbing Thomas Lucas's Moving to Self class and continue in the afternoon with my own monthly lab. Come for both and receive a discount!
Moving to Self: 10:00am -12:00pm
Moving for Essence: 1:00-3:30pm
The Day's Theme:
The Body's View - Seeing and Being a Bigger World
As I launch the Winter/Spring series of Moving for Essence, Dance Rolf Movement, I find expression wants to be shared like a gift; a re-membering of the forming, founding essence, the human experience in place. We are intwined with nature and alive in a perceptive, responsive body. This lab ventures to investigate and reveal our deep conscious roots that can support us toward an organic and wholesome adaptation with the realities of modern existence into a more personal, harmonious, local and balanced experience that informs us about what it means to be alive and connected to self and other. Come listen for the calling of your whole being through your body and in community.
We will participate in functional movement, perceptive awareness and mobile expressivity . Join the adventure into your living, moving being.
